The Ristoro Monte Scale
The
Ristoro has a simple, genuine and familiar atmosphere.
We offer a traditional gastronomy, typical of these valleys.
Pizzoccheri are the main master dish of the Valtellina’s culinary
tradition: they are a kind of noodle of brown wheat flower with
cabbage, potatoes and alpine pasture cheese served in butter and
sage sauce.
Guido suggests also other dishes such as: malfatti,
bread and spinach dumplings served in a meat and butter sauce.
Moreover the restaurant offers other specialities, like the typical
nibble with local cheese and salami. We must remember the bresaola,
our characteristic beef meat served cold and cut in thin slices;
it is one of the Valtellina area’s honours, born in Valdidentro.
To
taste it properly you should have it together with a glass of wine
of Valtellina, a Sassella or Grumello.

The Ristoro is ideal for large group, thank to its
spacious dining room.
During summer time it is always open, for lunch and dinner.
In winter time we open in December, around the 8th and during Christmas
holidays.
There is also the chance to overnight. Most of the rooms have private
bath and bunk beds. Telephone and television are at your disposal
in the Bar area.
There is the chance to leave the mountain bikes in a locked garage.
We can speak German, French and English.
Small pets are allowed if quiet and kept on the leash.
